iPhone and iPad

1. Open this site in Safari (not Chrome — only Safari can install).
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
4. Open Alpha Rev from the new icon. Background alerts only work when it is opened this way.

Android

1. Open this site in Chrome.
2. Press Install on this device above, or the menu → Install app.
3. Confirm. It lands in your app drawer like any other app.

Windows, Mac and Linux

1. Open this site in Chrome or Edge.
2. Press Install on this device, or click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
3. It opens in its own window and can be pinned to the taskbar or dock.

Roku

Roku runs BrightScript channels, not web apps, so the board ships as a separate native channel. It reads the same live signals from this site.

1. On the Roku remote press: Home ×3, Up ×2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.
2. Enable Developer Mode, set a password, and note the IP shown.
3. In roku/source/config.brs set BaseUrl() to this site's address.
4. Zip the contents of the roku folder — manifest must sit at the top of the zip.
5. Browse to http://<roku-ip>, log in as rokudev, upload the zip, press Install.

Sideloading works immediately and lasts until the Roku reboots into a factory state. Listing it in the Roku Channel Store is a separate submission through a Roku developer account.
